96.7 WLJY has tweaked from a Mainstream AC format to Hot AC… this included rebranding the station as “Mix 96.7, the 80’s, 90’s and Now.”  As part of this change Mix 96.7 picked up On Air with Ryan Seacrest.  The tweak took place on April 14, 2010 at Midnight.

Mix 96.7 ended their Hot AC/Christmas format at 10:30am and stunted with songs with the word “Hot” until Noon when 96.7 launched a new Top 40 format as “Hot 96.7 – Today’s Hottest Hits.”

WCHK/WKZG – 104.3 Green Bay

104.3 dumps Christmas in favor of Variety Hits, 104.3 and 103.5 Chuck FM, We Play Everything

104.3 & 103.5 Chuck-FM ended on November 1st, 2012 with the start of all Christmas music as “The Christmas Station.”  This signaled a new format to come after the holidays.

On December 26th at Midnight “KZ104-3” came on the air playing 80’s-90’s hits.  The first song played was Madonna’s Vouge.

WIZD/WSAU – 99.9FM Wausau

September 9th, 2009 5am

Midwest Communications wanted to better serve the full Wausau/Stevens Point Market with WSAU-AM’s News/Talk format.  WSAU-AM has problems covering the south half of the metro (Wisconsin Rapids/Marshfield/Stevens Point) at night.  It was decided to remove classic hits from WIZD, change the calls to WSAU-FM and do a simulcast of WSAU-AM/550 to accomplish this.
